Inspired by Kevin Durant, one of the game’s most potent all-around performers, the versatile Nike Zoom KD III Men’s Basketball Shoe is a unique twist on a traditional hoops sneaker. Signature details on the outsole tell Durant’s story, from his hobbies to his favorite on-court memories, while the shoe’s cutting-edge construction lends stability and comfort on the hardwood.

Full-grain leather upper for durability
Flywire for ultra-lightweight support and comfort
Nike Zoom for low-profile cushioning and lightweight performance

Nonstop sprinting on hard, wooden floors demands excellent cushioning. In a sleek three-quarter silhouette, the KD III features a Nike Zoom unit in the heel for lightweight, low-profile cushioning for all four quarters.

The Nike Zoom KD III Men’s Basketball Shoe features a Flywire body, a web of super-light, super-strong nylon fibers that support the foot by encasing it in a secure hug. Weaved in with the laces, an arch strap provides extra lockdown.

Signature Details
Gaming is one of Kevin Durant’s favorite pastimes, so it’s fitting that a “KD 35” design on the heel resembles a video game controller. Another bold “KD” logo pops on the tongue, and Durant’s signature is etched onto the arch strap.

Outsole Story
Before he became an NBA All-Star, Durant played street ball in the Barry Farms Goodman League in his hometown, Washington D.C. A “BF62” pattern on the outsole pays tribute to the neighborhood of Barry Farms and a memorable game in which he scored 62 points. Five lightning bolts represent his team—one for each player on the court—and piano keys near the heel and midfoot symbolize his passion for music.

Additional Details
Rubber outsole with herringbone pattern for multidirectional traction
Flex grooves for enhanced flexibility and a smooth, efficient stride
