Thunder Fall Short Against the Wizards in Washington

The Washington Wizards snapped the Thunder’s seven game winning streak, winning 105-102. KD finished the game with 33 points (on 10 of 24 shooting), 8 rebounds and 2 assists, but also had 7 turnovers.

After the game KD tweeted: “Tough loss, move on and learn from it!! Keeping it positive!”

The Thunder now head to New Jersey to take on the Nets on Saturday.

Kevin Durant Scores 28 and Leads the Thunder Over the Boston Celtics

The Thunder won their 7th straight game, defeating the Celtics in Boston 97-88 on Monday night. Both Russell Westbrook and KD had outstanding games.

KD finished with a game-high 28 points (on 9-20 shooting), 7 rebounds and 4 assists, while Westbrook followed closely with 26 points (on 9-18 shooting), 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Thunder now travel to Washington D.C. to take on KD’s hometown Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.

Kevin Durant Scores 28, Leads the Thunders Over the Knicks

The Thunder won their 6th straight game on Saturday night, defeating the visiting New York Knicks 104-92.

KD finished the game with 28 points (on 10-13 shooting), 2 rebounds and 1 assists in only 28 minutes of play. The Thunder now head to Boston to take on the Celtics on Monday.

Kevin Durant Scores 29, Leads the Thunder to Victory Over the Hornets

KD and the Thunder won their 5th straight game, defeating the Hornets 95-85 in New Orleans on Wednesday night.

KD finished the game with 29 points (on 11-17 shooting), 10 rebounds and 3 assists.

KD hit 11 of his last 14 shots after missing his first three. He took over in the third quarter, scoring 11 points in the first eight minutes as the Thunder extended a two-point halftime lead to 12 points. The Hornets pulled within four early in the fourth, but never threatened after that.

“It feels good to get five wins, man,” KD said. “We’ve got to look forward to keep pushing, keep building on it and hopefully do a good job next game. It’s very encouraging that we can get through something like this.”

The Thunder now head back home to OKC to take on the Knicks on Saturday.

Kevin Durant and Thunder Defeat the Grizzlies, Win 4th Straight

KD and the Thunder won their second game in Memphis this season, defeating their rivals, the Grizzlies 100-95.

KD finished the night with 22 points (on 7-20 shooting), 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Thunder now head to New Orleans for a match up with the Hornets on Wednesday night.

Kevin Durant and the Thunder Take Down the Spurs

In their third game in three nights, KD and the Thunder easily took down the San Antonio Spurs, 108-96. The Thunder won all three of their back to back to back contests this week, becoming the first team to accomplish that this season. Only 8 teams were able to pull that off during the 1999 strike shortened season.

KD finished the game with 21 points (on 5-9 shooting), 10 rebounds and 7 assists without playing in the 4th quarter. The Thunder will now head to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies on Tuesday night.

KD and the Thunder Down the Rockets for the Second Night in a Row

For the second night in a row, KD and the Thunder prevailed over the Houston Rockets. But unlike Friday night’s game, this game went down to the wire. KD clinched the victory scoring the go ahead bucket and following it up with two free throws in the closing seconds of the game.

KD finished the game with 27 points (on 10-25 shooting), 6 rebounds and 2 assists. The Thunder have their consecutive game on Sunday night when they take on the San Antonio Spurs in Oklahoma City

The Thunder bounced back from a two game losing streak Friday night, beating the visiting Houston Rockets.

KD led the Thunder to the victory with 26 points (on 10-16 shooting), 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in only 28 minutes of play. The Thunder play the Rockets again in Houston on Saturday night.

OKC Thunder Fall Short Against the Portland Trailblazers

KD and the Thunder fell short Tuesday night against the Portland Trailblazers. KD had his worst shooting game of the season, scoring 19 points on 10 of 26 shooting.

The Thunder look to end their two game losing streak against on Friday when they take on the Houston Rockets in OKC.
