My Thoughts on the New Usher Album

What’s good everyone? Well, we’re coming down the home stretch of the regular season right now, with just five more games left before the playoffs begin.

I’m sure a lot of you saw last night’s game against the Jazz. That felt like a 12 round boxing match. I can’t lie, that game really hurt. We were so close and then just lost in the final seconds of OT. Deron Williams was awesome for the Jazz. We just have to take our hats off to them for winning.

Tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets should be another good challenge for us. With everyone in the West within a couple of game of each other it’s important for us to win every game we can. Make sure y’all tune in tonight and check us out.

So how many people have picked up the new Usher album, Raymond vs. Raymond? I know it dropped last week, so today I’m gonna give you my little review.

Overall, I thought it was okay. I’m a BIG fan of Usher so I might be biased toward some songs people might not like but I think it’s good just because it’s Usher. I’m glad he came out with some new stuff, and he has some nice songs on there that I can rock to. It wasn’t his best album, but it’s still a great album.

I like, ‘There Goes My Baby,’ that’s a song that everyone knows. I like ‘Mars Versus Venus,’ this song called ‘She Don’t Know’ with Ludacris and the song, ‘Okay.’ It was a nice album – it was just a lot more pop than his usual albums. A lot more dance tracks than what I’m used to with Usher. There are just less love songs.

But if you’re an Usher fan, I think you’ll like it. So go get it. If you’ve already heard it, give me your thoughts in the comments section.

    u right it was alot more popish than usual and he really aint been the same since confessions but im still an usher fan and dude is a legend in my generation(est.88) there goes my baby is hands down my fav joint!

    awesome game against the jazz… i'm looking forward to the game tonight, too.

    anyway, i love that usher's back too. you're right, it's not the best album but i'm a big usher fan and am happy with raymond vs. raymond. my faves are “hey daddy” and “she don't know”… like you, i'm just content that he's come out with some new music 'cuz i've missed him.

    Your spot on with that review. But have to say it's a great improvement from his last album “Here I Stand”, but definitley not as good as Confessions.

    I think it is a good album just cause its Usher but it could have been better knowing Usher he could have had 5 number 1 hits on the album if he really wanted to. But keep on winning KD and by the way I played with OKC yesterday on NBA live 10 and I made you score 83 pts just cause I had to beat Kobe haha.

    I saw Usher's Top 5 playlist on Nightline. Obviously we're from two different planets. However, I dig your basketball play. I wish you the best in the playoffs.

    The way you just took control of that game last night in the final few minutes…what can I say but awesome! That ref needs to be sent back to the D-League though, that was horrible. Usher album is good but you're right it's not his best. MVP MVP MVP MVP

    I think that it was an okay album. I really expected to hear more R&B instead of pop but i guess usher wanted an album that would kinda satisfy club goers. My favs are Hey daddy(he didnt need plies at all), There goes my baby, More, Mars vs Venus, and Pro lover. Hopefully when he puts out another album there's more R&B. You guys played like a team that was ready for the playoffs and boy are ya'll ready. Last night's game was just a taste of what's to come and i cant wait! Yeah ya'll didnt win but look on the bright side ya'll are just 2 games away from winning 50 games!!!!! Keep up the good work

    Put your hats back on, the ref didn't have the “BALLS to Make the CALL” in my book the THUNDER won that game! No way you miss a shot that badly without being fouled. It's a ref's job to make the correct call no-mtter what the situation. You must not ref with pre-decision…(oh' we're not gonna call it in this situation unless) that's B>S…you have to ref with a clear mind so that you can make the correct call. Well get ready because tonight is gonna be something,

    Us here in seattle, see we wish that you never left. I know for a fact that if you were doin in seattle what your doin in OKC, the arena would be packed everynight. I cant afford to go to often but i would probably go to 5-10 games a year. Keep up the good work though. Do us proud man.
