My Thoughts on the Movie “The Crazies”

kdlabel

What’s good everyone? Just checking in to tell you about my trip to the movies on Saturday night. Some of my teammates and I went to check out the new horror movie, “The Crazies,” and I just wanted to give you my two cents on it.

It was kind of like a new-age zombie movie about a disease taking over a town and taking over most of the people. Only a couple of people got out alive, and I think an army quarantined the whole city and shut off the highways. It was intense – a lot of blood. It was cool how it ended, but I won’t spoil it for you.

I usually don’t watch scary movies by myself. I usually watch them with a friend or a teammate or someone. I saw this one with James, Jeff and Eric. We just went to the theater at a local mall and since it was a Saturday night it was real crowded. Obviously, we were some of the tallest people there so they were asking if we played ball. We just sat in the middle back row so we could see everything. But as far as scary movies go, sometimes you just want to see something intense, and I get that feeling watching scary movies. That’s how I felt yesterday. It was definitely something I would recommend for people to go see.

If you saw it, or if you have any other good movies to recommend, let me know.

yo KD I have no idea about horror movies but the one I'd recommend is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre(older version), you know the one from the 70s. I've seen the remakes but never the original! Apparently it was one of the scariest horror films of it times. I'd also recommend Sorority Row but that's only cuz of the volume of hot chicks featured in it. It is also a horror movie. And some friendly advice: Please don't post what happens in the movie, it may spoil some peoples' appetites in watching it!

It's good to know that you're one of the leading scorers in the NBA now. I look forward to your budding success!!!

    KD,

Was this at Quail Springs Mall? Man, I wish I woulda been there on Saturday night! If I just ran into you out and about in OKC, are you cool with people asking for your autograph or would you rather be left alone? I think people in OKC respect your privacy when you're out and don't wanna bother you, but I bet a lot more people recognize you than you realize. Our city is really in love with you and the Thunder and really thankful for what you guys have done for us. Keep up the great work! Another great blog entry, by the way. I love seeing this side of you. And yeah, definitely go see Shutter Island!

    in Christ,
    Brandon

    Hey Kevin,
I really liked this post. I think it helps people see that you are a lot like us in many ways, minus the bball skills obviously. Ha. I love OKC and you are good representative for our city. Keep up the hard work on and off the court. I look foreward to reading future posts.

What's up Kevin? I think you should check out the movie Fido. It was a Canadian film made a couple years ago about a zombie. It's a comedy and you should be able to get it on Netflix. Check it out

so i saw "the crazziies" on saturday with a few of my friends and it was pretty good. We were choosing between "the crazies" "shutter island" and "cop out" and i say we picked a good one.

I usually dont watch scary movies either this one was good cause it was pretty intense.
  • 35,

if you don't mind movies with subtitles 'the orphanage' is good and really creepy. i think the spanish title is 'el orfunato'. i also saw 'shutter island' recently and as others have mentioned its really good. a lot of suspense and twists to keep you interested.

p.s. love watching you play, go OKC!

The eggplant foamposites come out this saturday, I hope they will be dropping at penn square, quail springs, or crossroads mall. When the copper foams came out I had to drive out to lawton to the only footlocker there. Are you going for the eggplant foams?

How in the world did people keep asking you guys if you played ball? I'm not understanding how they didn't recognize you guys. But thanks for the movie review, I have been wanting to see it.

Dude one scary movie you gotta see, if you haven't, is "the strangers". It has a lot of moments where the killer is right behind the main character, just like the crazies. Just don't watch it alone- it'll freak you out!
  • Saurabh
Kevin dude you have got to watch Shutter Island, it's not a scary movie but it is a GOOD movie.
  • Steve

    Hi Mr Kevin Durant.
First time writing to a Nba player haha.
One of the scariest movie i saw was Shutter( the original Thailand version). I watched it with a bunch of close friends. It still creeps me out every now and then when i think of the scenes in it. Not sure if you watched that movie before , it is like a few years back... but scary nonetheless.
Nice site design by the way, love the KD logo alot! It has got the slick and classy feel, reminds me of how you play ur game.
Ok takecare and all the best for your future matches!
